Why is the Jailbreak server unlisted?

I was informed that unless you use the EgN site to get the ip info for the server, people won't see the server if they do a search on counter strike source. If you could somehow make it so it is listed, we would have more people in the server.

Did you actually try to do this yourself? Because it does show in the legacy browser.

it hasn't shown for me unless friends are on the server and/or i connect through the website IP address

do you have it in your favorites? anytime i've searched for it (by filtering the map in legacy browser) it's always shown. or by it being in my favorites

It is in my favorites, but I can never see the server being up. I have to connect through the website. (Yes, I have the correct IP saved as a favorite)

Strange? It's in my favourites and shows every time I load up CSS. Try do this:

Copy the IP that is: 198.50.204.17:27015 and go to your Favourites tab on your Server Browser. Click Add IP Addresses and paste the IP address. When you do, click Find Servers or something that is on the dialog that pops up, it should list the Jailbreak server and click Add to Favourites. It'll add it to your favourites and then you will need to click 'Refresh' and then you should be able to double click the server and join. Let me know if you don't understand or have trouble doing this

Considering two people (myself & demdunderbuds) have this reoccurring matter I wouldn’t recall it as easy as re-adding the server to your favourites

Would imagine it’s not client based

Definitely a client issue, the Valve master server knows about the JB server.

Make sure you wait long enough and have filter settings set at to allow JB to appear.
Also the Steam server browser works better than the in-game one.

JB is set to 0 (as it has always been).

Also favorites or not doesn't matter/is not needed.
