Agreed. Most left media people do this for attention rather than actually boycotting Nike. Even if people boycott Nike this mainly focused on USA. Most other sports and people outside USA aren't affected by this.

I mean I don't buy their products but if I did I don't imagine I'd be too worried about who they hired or fired as long as the product quality was still good.

Well, according to MarketWatch Nike's online sale upped 31% after Kaepernick's campaign commercial. Even though their shares may have dropped quite a bit, without following and/or reading a actual stock report by an official, it's hardly to say that short citing of shares as a result of Nike's campaign; although, the campaign itself could have made a slight difference in stocks, it's more than likely the those invested in the sector, or even the slight attraction after labor day. Besides, with Nike's success don't think they're going to have much of an impact by this. Their customer base extends much further than the deep south.

But regardless of what anyone thinks of Kap himself and/or Nike, this was a pretty well-made commercial. Let's see what happens when it airs tomorrow.

I support Colin's right to protest. Doesn't mean it's not inappropriate and shits on one of the only things that unifies the country no matter what race you are, background, poor, rich, handicapped, veteran, scientist, teacher, you name it - the flag. I refuse to buy clothing or brands that politicize their products, and it's even worse that a major corporation that takes advantage of near slave labor is endorsing it. I will not be buying Nike ever again, even though I only did once. I started supporting local brands two years ago for sportswear and I will continue to do so, more proudly.

People don't buy sportswear for politics, they buy it for comfort, looks, and the feeling. Nobody wants to "feel" political when working out.
