I feel as if we should change the representative requirements to being Veteran+. I feel as if that would be a more acceptable range due to the amount of dedication they have to the clan. It will be a stronger foundation to start on if they have a passion for the clan vs people who just enter.
I don’t think rank is necessarily a very good measure of how much someone cares or what they bring to the table. Obviously they are a higher rank for a reason but everyone brings something to the table and I think limiting who can be nominated really hurts the “community chosen” aspect of it. If you think about most of the active people in the clan who play JB are either members or elites, if these people play the server the most and have a good idea of what people want then why not let them have a chance at being voted in?
It also can give the Staff+ a better idea of how useful or knowledgeable the person is and maybe even set them on track for a promotion or two since they have already gotten a chance to show what they are capable of.
From experience you could say the most knowledgeable thing as a recruit or member and people will think “This is just a dumb recruit who doesn’t know what they are talking about” but once you become an elder and say the same exact thing people start taking what you say into consideration. If people are willing to vote for someone, why not give them a platform?
