Streaming from ps3?

So i was thinking of trying to stream a really fun game from my Ps3. Is that even possible? and if so how? I've tried to google it but didnt find the answer i was looking for. Anyways thanks you for helping in advance

A capture card Essentially will take a HDMI feed and pass it through to a computer. The computer can then use that input to stream through your software of choice (e.g. OBS,xsplit etc)
So the HDMI out on the PS3 goes in to the card, it takes that signal and splits it so one signal goes to the computer and the other signal is a HDMI out letting the signal continue and be fed through to your monitor/tv

I believe there's something you can buy called an El Gato or something like that which is perfect and many console YouTubers use it.

Elgato is the way to go, or you can also get a capture card that captures RCA inputs. Those are like $20 on amazon.
