If u truly want a tattoo go for it.
Just give it a good time to think about it and what the consequences will be. That tattoo will be forever unless u let it get removed by laser. If you are still young your body will still grow and the tattoo might look different in a few years so that u don't like it anymore. Read up on thaugt about other people with tattoos like here or somewhere else. Just make sure that it really is what u want because once u started it there almost isn't any way back

Tbh, as a 16 year old. I also was thinking of a tattoo I know my mom wouldnt have a problem as long as I dont look like said; "most modern rappers now" but I think you should obviously go with something simple and has meaning, for example getting a tattoo of a heart with mom on it for example, has always crossed my mind because she was already there for me groiwng up, never my dad. But you do you.
