Admin Meeting!
Saturday, July 14th @ 1:00 pm (afternoon) for CST or GMT-6
It will be in TeamSpeak, info can be found on the site.
Admins and Donators NEED to attend this (IN ITS ENTIRETY), if you have admin and miss this you will lose it until you attend the next follow-up meeting (More info TBA)
Here you can post your thoughts as to what shall be discussed at this meeting. We will discuss the following:
Go over the JB Rules, one rule at a time.
Answer any questions regarding any rule currently in place in JB.
Vote on any JB rule changes, create/remove any rules.
Recap changed rules and additions if any.
Explain possible donation requirements for admin.
Answer any questions for anyone confused.
Remind all that Admin is given so that order can be maintained.
.....
Please note that we will track attendance at the meeting, as with admin meetings expect it to take 3+ hours. If you cannot attend this meeting, you will lose your admin. If you attend a follow-up meeting, you will not lose your admin, however, you will not be able to vote on new changes or give input.
All prospective admins need to attend this as well - meaning those who intend to become admins/have donated are strongly encouraged to attend as it is fundamental to becoming an admin.
I think we need to further discuss in regards to adding reasons when CTs are warning Ts (for example, warning a T for not being frozen, but a CT only says "Matt, that's your first warning" without providing a reason to why they're being warned as essentially they wouldn't know why they're being warned, and adding that reason allows the player to correct their mistake)
*DEAD*EgN|s BEST ADMIN TITTYSPRINKLES: i thought today was rulebreaking day my bad :-( *DEAD* EgN| Terminator #Fishy Guy: yup, ma dick to long :)

They're suppose to be doing that in the first place. Something that we should be enforcing as admins. Warnings must be by name and the reason for the warning.
EgN| Vertical_360: What's a grown up? I bet its gross. Simmons: The best jail bait there is. Get used to it Jeremy 10:31 pm when you find a woman willing to walk into hell for you....you found *Her*

Yeah, I know but it's something that should be brought up as most admins I've seen on the server are not enforcing it, or not good enough because no one does it, and I have to actually tell people to do that when I'm on the server. It's something that should be discussed considering it was never really stated in official meanings (if you know what I mean)

I'd like to discuss the possibility of Duck Hunt being favoritism to the people who go last

My best advice honestly would be to quit preparing. Just go in there and be you man. Stressing over it and trying to prepare perfect answers will just worry you more and make you nervous. When you interview, you just want to be calm and cool, and be yourself. Give honest answers. All you've got to know is who you are and what you'be done, because that's all they want to know, and everyone knows about themselves. Every interview is different and impromptu usually, because they interview goes on the path that you take it. The interviewer asks questions about you, so you choose that path. Sure they might have questions they pool from, but if you answer "I've never had any work experience" they won't ask you "So tell me all about your last job," so really you can't really prepare for that except knowing yourself. So be you. If you want to prepare, then learn stuff about the company. Learn their website, what they stand for, stuff like that.
Another thing, to make sure they see you are interested, is to view it like you are interviewing them as well. This interview is likely the last chance you have before getting the job, just as it is for them hiring you. So you gotta make sure this what you want. Ask them questions back, information about their company you couldn't find or understand. Don't ask about pay, not for a job like this. But general info stuff, like maybe about what you'll be doing, the work environment, etc.
Hope this helped, GL. I'm pretty much a king at impromptu so for interviews I almost never prepare. But eh, not everyone's like me. Still, hope this helped.
-Matt's advice on interviews Large Red Text is usually bad.
