Took this personality test a while ago, was really surprised with the accuracy. Most personality tests are kinda bullshit, but this has more of a trait based aspect, rather than a simple arbitrarily numbered "type" based model, allowing us to better conceptualize human personality.
So it's based around five main Personality Traits:
Mind (Introvert/Extrovert)
Energy (Observant/Intuitive)
Nature (Thinking/Feeling)
Tactics (Judging/Prospecting)
Identity (Assertive/Turbulent)
Putting you into the primary 4 types of people, and 4 sub trait groups for said type :
Analysts - Intuitive and Thinking -Architect -Logician -Commander -Debater
Diplomats - Intuitive and Feeling -Advocate -Mediator -Protagonist -Campaigner
Sentinels - Observant and Judging -Logistician -Defender -Executive -Consul
Explorers - Observant and Prospecting -Virtuoso -Adventurer -Entrepreneur -Entertainer
I highly encourage everyone to take it, you can find it here.
I got The Mediator(INFP) Feel free to post your own results/thoughts :^)

& Wikipedia both, the one you're using atm is called the MBTI and has no scientific credibility.

To quote Patrick Bell, it stands for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, emphasis on indicator. "Like a gas gauge on your car, it says you have about half a tank left. It doesn't say you have 11.24 gallons remaining(that would be a measure of accuracy)." It seems to be a common understanding that the "Big 5" lacks individual usefulness, the information corresponds to your personality but there is no sense of predicting your behavior or preferred communication styles. Regarding MBTI, each theory defines the acronyms in their own way, it's not impossible that one persons definition of a personality differs from anothers. As i said though, it allows us to better conceptualize human personality, not perfectly define it. I encourage you to read the framework behind it, there is hefty research that goes into this, I wouldn't brush it off as another facebook level personality quiz.

My last two personality tests from the last two threads.
And of course if you want to take an actual personlity test that is scientifically based probably wanna use a different one but regardless this is more a random gimmick

And just gonna quote from the last thread as well to anyone who says the test is quote-an-quote, bullshit

The test won't be 100% accurate of course, or maybe even 75% or 50% accurate based on how you evaluate your results; was placed in campaigner the first time had taken the test, the meditator the second time, then just now was given debater after taking it for the third time. The results change based on your mood that given day, and / or what you've done that past week or month which to keep in mind is all based off self-reported information. Not to mention, the framework of each personality type forms a very prevalent cornerstone which is why you can find a bit of yourself in each personality type, yeah it doesn't meet the standards of scientific classification but that doesn't mean the test can't provide people insight and shit regarding their patterns of behavior or that you can't be confident of your results if you're repeatedly being placed into the same personality type, you can take it as a suitable, conjecture(?), per se.

I'm more into discussing personal theories on human psychology, like regular conversation. Short/Pasted responses are pretty boring. Where is your passion!

Meyers-Briggs is good for letting someone know what personality they believe they are. As an objective measure of personality traits it isn't that great.
For a true personality review, you need to have a professional administer a test like the IPIP Big 5 that Doldol mentioned, or even better the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. Personally I'm a fan of the MMPI, as it has a built-in lie scale (and is pretty damn accurate, especially with those with antisocial personalities).

As an objective measure of personality traits the test is pretty solid considering you answer honestly, there just arent as many aspects as the big 5. The lack of scientific backing primarily lies in their interpretation of social communication preferences or goals. No sense in regurgitating whats already been covered.
