You can be a man and ACT like a woman, but you will never BE a woman and vice versa. Simply acting like the opposite sex is not enough to change your gender.
When you act a certain way for a long time, you start to believe that is who you are. That's why people say it's a mental illness.
Gender is a measure of self identity. That’s not something you can disagree with, that’s not an opinion. Look it up if you don’t believe me. You can freely disagree with the fact that people identify with more than male
or female (I do), but the central fact still remains. Even so, hence the term “transgender” not “transsexual” because transgender is signifying a change in your gender identity - you cannot change your sex. You could change your gender tomorrow if you wanted. Your misconception of the difference between gender and sex, like most of the people on this thread, blinds you to the matter.
