It's not obvious not to cheat and exploit a map?
My 2 cents is I don't get why the responses here seem forceful, but I understand where this guy is coming from. Yeah, common sense proves that you normally wouldn't try to exploit a map on purpose, but sometimes people are like "oh cool, i didn't know this existed" and might use it without knowing that it was specifically banned.
But that's just
my opinion.
It's more that he's far more than aware that he's exploiting. He begins his sentence by saying
"I was slain on jailbreak for exploiting" followed with
"I've abused this exploit numerous times". And an exploit is the use of a bug or glitch by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the games designers. Word for word. Otherwise, you can just relate it to cheating which is just an unfair advantage to make the game easier. We'd take a much different approach if he was possibly unaware of what an exploit was or whether that would be
considered an exploit but seeing that his only reasoning is
"well everyone else does it so why can't I?" we're clearly not going to take lightly.
Just to be clear we do have a rule that this would fall under being rule No. 3
No Hacking or scripts - Play fair! Another rule stating
"Do not exploit" isn't going to change the actions of the player base. Their deliberately using it to get an clear advantage against the CT team. In my opinion we shouldn't even need a rule stating not to cheat, it should be fairly obvious for anyone who's familiar with games. That answer your question / suggestion ProfessorG?
