i think it's just because of the huge amount f memory it will take or however its called.
like imagine all the demo's it will have, and also if u delete it all its gone and no proof anymore?
idk exactly but seems like a huge "adding" aswell as why cant u just make your own demos?
not that hard, just record "name" and stop when u got it all or just screenshot, that is ok for most things
dont really see the use tbh
It is possible to set up a bot to autorecord a demo of each map and save it to the fastdl. Just have demos automatically be purged if they are older than x amount of hours or set a limit on how many can be saved at once. Usually people are going to use the demo relatively close to when the offense occurred so deleting demos 2 or 3 days old shouldnt really cause a problem. This set up worked very well back in NsG using GOTV I believe, the only difference was that we were using it for CSGO rather than CSS but I am certain there is a way to do it for source.
Or to save the hassle of setting this up just allow external recordings to be used, if someone posts a video that is unclear or seemingly edited to paint someone in a bad light then treat it the same as a demo with insufficient evidence and deny the request.
