great article, but...

the drama and tension was just because some people couldn't handle that players made fun with the rule.
for as far as i know, at the beginning when a rule gets implemented it always gets fucked with, nobody uses it as its supposed to and alot of things happen. this isn't nessecarily a bad thing tho, people have fun with it because its fresh and easy to have fun with. its just having fun in the way this whole game was created, mess around and do shit that makes u laugh. How the fun evolves during the rest of the day depends on how u act upon it. if u just go extreme ass and be strict about everything people are going to get mad and abuse it more and more.
just have fun aswell and ask them as a player, not an admin, to calm down a lil and not exploit it too bad.
thats best way to handle it in my opinion.

u shouldn't see admin as a job, it's just something that u have and u rather not use. why would u want to kick ppl and ban em lol, needs to get pretty bad if u want to do that shit xD

personnaly i dont care if members of a server i play on play aswell, i just wanna have fun and then i stay, so main focus should be to keep the servers fun.

last: shouldn't be taming the players, they want to have fun here. in my personal opinion we should be taming the admins. far to often i see people who i have played with alot and see theire bahaviour get banned for acting like they always do. also see that some guys instantly go to full on admin mode when a guy does 1 tiny thing wrong and correct the shit out of it and insta kick if they do it again. ITS HUMAN TO MAKE MISTAKES.

so lets please try and use admin as a very last resort as it is suposed to be used. and please try to let everybody have fun unless it gets to a point where alot of people get anoyed by it.

They won't continuously abuse it unless you do something about it lol... Abusing our rules is not allowed, and you take action on it, start with a warning, and if they continue, slay them, continue, kick, continue ban, and repeat the same process if they continue after coming back from the ban, if they don't get it, then give them a longer ban, they'll soon eventually understand that we admins are not going to stop enforcing the rules. Maybe yes sometimes it's fun, and people don't like us to rain on their parade, but fun only goes so far, once this fun goes to the point where someone breaks a rule, or many rules, then we act on it, telling them to calm down a little and watch what they do.
