I did state that it didn't have to be hosted on the servers.. Plenty of things to play drinking games with off of the servers.. Honestly, the events team was put together to bring the community closer.. If anythings going to bring it closer it's a drinking event as everyone already drinks on the servers anyway.. And as I've stated before, it isn't exclusive to alcoholics.. Just encouraged that people of age drink..

Right so I'm pretty sure that EgN Consists of a lot of people below the legal drinking age. I know nobody gives a fucking damn about this age restriction but going ahead making a post on the forums encouraging kids to break the law ? I can't really be 1 with you. Atleast make it 18+ or 21+ For the Americans. Or like explain that you're not really trying to encourage them but if they've already done it in the past and have an Eye for Alcohol in their house then they can tag along. Also I really hope you've thought this through because making our servers a little bit chaotic, okay. But atleast have a higher ranked admin (prefered staff+ or someone with root access) to get rid of the people who're being overly chaotic on our servers.

I know I'm not in the rightful position to claim this event a little bit over shot.. But I can't really see why you'd want a drinking game. Our members sometimes just do this under eachother, with friends instead of being on a full rampage. I've drank alcohol on the servers in the past you can ask Taylor and other people. And they can guarantee you that I crossed the line sometimes.

I'm just trying to make sure that you can see all of the dangers before you go through with this event. It's not a bad one, it's good that you're trying to have a "special" event. But make sure it doesn't go with other events happening, don't involve the kids in it and make sure everyone will stay respectful towards eachother. I'm sure that I'm going to avoid drinking a fuck ton at that point because during certain points in my time I'd like to still be able to control something that isn't mine. Growing up being all protective over everything I've had to deal with my friends trying to break the law and me or my other IRL best friend having to stop them.

So short: Make sure you don't overwrite other events, make sure you'll have someone who'll have everything under controll at all times, make sure you're allowed to do this, make sure you have the resources and the servers that you need. And last but not least make sure that you can prove that each individual is actually doing their needs. [Self promotion, for drinking problems we can have each single person get on camera taking the shot at some points if there's to much cams on or something, make sure that you witness the person drinking] (No trust in being drunk.)

Personally I don't think it's a good idea with that being said you can do anything when you're drunk, if you can handle it or not - plus the legal age requirement is a barrier for those who do want to but cannot - I'm legal, but I won't do it. There are different legal ages in different countries, and you never know someone might go "OH look, I'm legal" where in fact they're not.

If you do go ahead with it on EgN servers, be ready. You cross the line, you pay for it - you break the rules, you pay for it - don't expect because you're drunk makes it any less worse, because in fact, it's worse. You're supposed to be representing the EgN Community, and getting drunk, saying all sorts of rubbish in servers is not setting a good example.

Dat's what I'm saying... There has to be a person who's like going along but not hardcore.. Someone who can have controll and can prevent everything from going out of hand.

The event is an attempt. It's not legit yet, because other event's team people already commented on it etc. I think it'll be more staff+'s decision wether or not they'll allow it.

I mean, from the standpoint of someone who would both like to participate, but also sees the issues, the good news is that

• It doesn't have to be in EgN Game Servers
• It doesn't have to be in any game EgN hosts a server on
• Doesn't have to be officially sanctioned by EgN (which is highly suggested)

I think it's an awesome idea to get a group of friends together that want to drink and have fun (a la tinychat), but would highly suggest it be done in something like tabletop simulator with board games, or online with cards against humanity etc. Drinking games get more fun when they're not competitive and are more for a laugh than anything else. Unless there's some way to get the superiors to sanction locking down a server specifically for this "event" (which i doubt they would do) it'd probably be best just to use this as a platform to get people to join in on the fun if they're of legal age in their country.

Okay... First of all, I'd like everyone who commented on this to go and read my posts and comments on this before having an input. Many of you have said how it should never happen on EgN servers and etc.. which i understand where you're coming from.. but i just had that as an option to keep EgN feeling included.. this is all perfectly doable and probably more enjoyable off of the servers..
Secondly, I'd like to remind everyone that EgN isn't around to enforce every law under the sun. EgN shouldn't be troubling itself with laws unless it can directly affect them in a way that it poses a real threat to the servers and community.. which underage drinking really doesn't.. Having said that, I haven't told any minor to drink. I have stated specifically that alcohol isn't a requirement but is highly encouraged if you're of age to drink it. That means people underage can still take part in the fun, just not drink.. unless they want to, in which i and all of EgN have no control over.
Third, the events team as far as i'm aware was put together to bring the community together and closer. This is possible through forms of events. I personally believe, if anything is going to bring members of EgN together it's a kinda no rules drinking night.. pretty much anything goes (unless it's racist or disrespectful or whatever.. I'm not a complete idiot.) and i genuinely believe this event would bring people who wouldn't normally meet, together to have fun and bring the community closer... As that is kinda the whole point of events.
Forth, I originally was arranging this whole thing just within a friendship circle.. but then i thought that actually it could be an opportunity to meet new, fun people within EgN.. i proposed the idea to friends and they loved it. Therefore i made the post. I don't give a shit if this will be EgN official or not.. Saturday i'm getting drunk, after the week I've had. Nobody gonna stop that lmao
Finally, i don't understand why people are taking this light hearted event so seriously.. instead of saying "NO THIS IS THE SAME DAY AS A RECURRING EVENT AND THEREFORE CAN'T HAPPEN!". Fucking propose ideas to make it work.. some of you are officially in the events team yet just shoot good ideas down? Just make suggestions on how the event could be modified to improve it? It's not difficult..

This is practically what I was trying to say in the private activities thread. I like the idea (and will probably actually come) and really, don’t see a problem with it; however, if you’re (regarding those who posted against the thread) worried about our members affecting our servers or causing a ‘bad’ rep, which I find improbable, then have a Staff+ let Mittens know to not have it held in our servers, or because you’re probably reading this @ Mittens would suggest staying away from our servers (mini games could be appropriate regarding gameplay) so both parties are satisfied as most members have clearly missed the point of the thread and are now just nitpicking.

@ Central as well. Mittens hasn’t once said in his thread, “yo kids come get your drink on” neither are we (the clan) responsible for whether someone below the drinking age, drinks (alcohol du) or not so that argument is non-valid.
