In another display of how horrible humanity can be, a country music festival in Las Vegas, NV was fired upon by an unknown gunman. So far two people have been confirmed dead with well over 20 others injured. Of those injured its said 12 -14 of them are considered to be in critical condition. The reasoning behind someone wanting to fire hundreds of shots into innocent people is still be investigated.

Mostly I heard the shots, just so many shots -- I just thought it was a semi braking with the air brakes, but then I went downstairs and saw people running and looking for family," he said.
"I immediately went back to my room, locked the door, turned the lights off."
The devastation those on the Vegas strip must be feeling is immense. Police have said that the shooter has been downed, and they are currently investigating to make sure there were no other shooters. Flights into Vegas have been rerouted and all activities along the strip have been halted. Police are asking everyone to avoid the strip entirely.
