Congratulations mate I hope everything works out well for you down the line. You`ll make a great father figure. It`s a big step to take in life and a big commitment but just be prepared for the great amount of responsibility involved. I wish you both the best of luck in life in raising your new born child. Also grab yourself at couple of those parenting 101 books as believe me they`ll help you prepare more than anything for the challenges that lie ahead.

You sure as hell aren't making fun of someone that is trying to get into the military to provide a future for their unborn child are you because if you are that's super scummy and pathetic. Hopefully I'm just reading into that wrong

Make fun of? Really?

No, I'm not. It's just a very questionable choice. How does being away on deployment for months on end and putting your life at risk seem like a good choice to make while raising a child? To me it seems like one of the worst career choices possible under these circumstances. I would never do that to my child if I had one, imo very irresponsible, and there is are a ton of different (and better) ways to make money. When you have a child it's your and your partner's responsibility to actively be there for and support him/her, I don't understand how you wouldn't be able to see that a military career isn't the best way to do that per se....
