I don't really see the problem with it if all it was, was some stupid spin bot, especially if that's all it did was spin. (Though idrk why he needed an external program for that, since that shit's easy enough to do in the console anyways....) Comparing in punishment something that makes you spin really fast to, say, wallhacks and aimbots is pretty ridiculous imo.
A spinbot doesn't only spin, it makes your FOV normal so you can play normally. For everyone else though you're fucking spinning like a fidget spinner thus making it harder for people to hit you. Add an aimbot to that and it can get pretty annoying.

plenty of people with VAC ban's on record in the clan
Because I was bored and had nothing else to do I wanted to see how many. 18 Members have VAC bans. 6 of which are less than a year old. 3 Are between a year and 500 days old 6 Are over 500 days old (Not counting the 1,000+) 4 are over 1,000 days old. 2 out the 18 have multiple VAC bans on the same account

Spinbots are programmed to spin an exact way depending on the setting, you can easily tell if he's randomly spinning his mouse or using one. there's a difference between having a VAC ban and getting one on the main game our community plays on the same day you "jokingly" admit to getting it from someone who was recently banned for hacking.

It sure is interesting that the same people who protested Notorious Snipers ban and attacked Geeza for leading to his ban are also the same people who jumped up to try to get Geeza removed from the clan the moment they find out about the VAC ban.
Honestly it's kind of sick. This pass year seems to just be "THIS GUY IS POPULAR HE CAN'T BE TOUCHED".
And you're punishing people for being a 'Snitch' and getting the people who give the clan a bad name out of the clan by ganging up on them trying to make it public to get them on your sides. It sure seems like we had a big part of a meeting about this as well, but obviously that seems to have been ignored.
Yes hacking is VERY SERIOUS. But I know looking back that this is only a BIG issue because Geeza got your friend removed, otherwise it would just be a "haha you got vacbanned" and moved on.
Yes Geeza may or may not have hacked and may face punishment as I said before, hacking is a big nono, but you also shouldn't be ganging up on people in the clan trying to give them a bad name over a personal dispute. You have to be more level headed and look at what he did wrong for the clan and everyone in it, not just your little group.

As I've stated, hacking in EgN servers will get you banned and kicked from the community, but not if you just have a VAC ban.
Sucks for him though about playing in EgN servers, we don't have any plans on removing VAC from our servers.

Nobody has mentioned any prior issues with either parties until now, it's literally not possible to be objective about situations without people saying "you just dont like him, you're just trying to get him in trouble!" I'd consider me and Geeza to be somewhat friends, but this is a serious issue that I don't think is being addressed seriously, and I'm not asking for a ban I'm just asking for someone to spread light on the situation.

Not really, he already has an alt with Admin perms, like I said though I'll look through the SourceTV footage for you and find it.

I think this situation is honestly pretty stupid, People getting so worked up about Geeza getting vac banned. Yiggles told me EgN does not punish people for getting vac'd unless they they hack on EgN servers. VAC also known as Valve Anti-Cheat, isn't the ideal Anti-Cheat System you thought it would be. Valve has a reputation of vac banning cheaters, but their anti-cheat isn't the best, For example, There is so many cheaters in Counter Strike Global Offensive even in Prime or Non-Prime and their Overwatch System isn't the completely the best. You can spinbot for a day, and not play for 24 hours, and not get vac nor overwatch ban. Yes, false VAC bans DO happen. You can look up on reddit, and see people who do get false vac banned in CSS or CSGO.

A witchhunt? I'll get my pitchfork!
But first, we need to ensure Geeza weighs as much as a duck, or else we can't be sure.
Gonna revise your Levi's with physical harm Put divets in the rivets with my physical arm Gonna beat those jeans, gonna dip em in slime Turn your 501s into 499s
The Senate: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? Anakin: No The Senate: I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side, he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. Anakin: He could actually save people from death? The Senate: The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. Anakin: What happened to him? The Senate: He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself. Anakin: Is it possible to learn this power? The Senate: Not from a Jedi.
