Do something good and you will be noticed. I will not lie, I was surprised by some of the people who got promoted (I could tell for what reasons they were promoted for though) but it is what it is my guy, and props to them. Like serious said, if we did have a list on how to how gain more power, we would have a lot of people who would only be in it for the promotions instead of just having fun M E M E I N G.

I think either way some people are just in it for the promotions, but I think people are looking for a more linear route on what they need to do to help out. I put in roughly 60 hours a week administrating jailbreak but it's hard to recognize if I'm not just banning people. It's a valid concern, people pour their time into a community dont feel appreciated so they want to know what exactly they should be doing.

For the record I don't really care about being promoted, but I understand why people do.

I notice all of you don't worry :) But you still got get noticed by other staff+ as well.

Best way to get notice is joining groups "newscrew , events team, etc" or Manage servers just saying

They all vote and put names in on who they think should be promoted and if names aren't on that list they don't discuss them.

Its like admin applications.

So basically if they don't know you or dont like you GG no RE.

Or just take the time out of your day to talk to the staff about ideas and take interest in the community. You can say oh its "whoever kisses their asses gets to move up" but that's not the case.. There is more than one staff that will vote on you or bring you up for a potential promotion. Just because one may disagree doesn't mean the rest will take their side. Also not pin pointing anyone, but if you act out in a bad manner around the community it will decrease your chances. Just saying that one in general because of situations I've seen before. Be "active, mature, and helpful" as the knowledge base says, but that also includes being a bit more out going as well. We can come talk to you guys but you're always welcome to come hangout with any staff and get some ideas rolling or even to just hang out.
