So at the end of the day I will follow whatever the Staff+ enforce. To me breaking vents/secrets is rebelling because you're trying to escape. Sure you can say its not in the rules, but to me this is common sense in which some people rather not go by. At no point during the game does a T have the right to stay hiding in a vent or even knifing it. It is an "unknown" area for the CTs around the prison. Meaning that its expected to find Ts around the map like in showers, pool, lockers, and etc. but vents are an area which CTs do not know about (Yes I' aware that some know these secrets as CTs, but that is known as metagaming). So in prison if you find a T knifing the vent, their only intentions are to escape. Which again is rebelling because you guys have no reason to go down there or even knife it. Another thing I would compare this to is when Ts knife a CT for running pass them. You are allowed to kill them because they shouldn't of knifed you in the first place. The same goes for when a T knifes the vent, they shouldn't of been trying to break it in the first place.
You guys can comment and discuss all you would like but I prefer to see input from the staff on this when they get a second.
On here it doesn't say knifing a vent makes you a rebel...

Not trying to be a smartass or anything, but rthere is a rule that may counter this: Rule 46: You must play your role as a guard. Are guards supposed to "know" secrets, and if they are knifing a vent, technically a guard doesnt know thats a vent if thats what this rule is implying. Idk I figured like u said if a guard kills a T for knifing a vent, and not telling them to stop isnt really rebelling until they break the vent/secret.

Ok well if it's a vent then it's noticeable but if it's a secret then guards have to wait I guess. But as a guard watching someone break a vent is straight up rebelling. The guard is also not playing their role by letting them break it. In a prison if I saw a Inmate breaking a vent or in it then something is wrong here.

Should probably take away the knives from the T's then i guess... If i saw an Inmate with a knife, then something is wrong.
I'd like the promotion, the paycheck and parking spot. But I don’t really want to be in charge of anything.

Well like I said, I see the points that are being made, obviously there are tons of loopholes that people may find with the rules

You guys realize you can say 'dont knife the vent", right?
Should probably play your roles, or swap to T :/

The Senate: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? Anakin: No The Senate: I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side, he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. Anakin: He could actually save people from death? The Senate: The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. Anakin: What happened to him? The Senate: He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself. Anakin: Is it possible to learn this power? The Senate: Not from a Jedi.

CTs should specifically order not to knife a vent. And alot of the times I'm honestly knifing the walls just because of the sound, most of the times it not with malicious intent unless it's map I know well like razor.

The T shouldn't be in a vent in the first place or knifing it because they know where it leads. I'm not trying to argue but it gets old when everyone wants to be a smartass about it. Saying "Oh you never said no knifing vents". Just thinking about how that sounds on their part is really off putting to me. They know its a vent and that it is for escaping/rebelling lol. So for those bashing on it, how bout you have a conversation instead of trying to toss out little petty remarks that are gonna just get the thread locked.
