I'm looking to spend £150/$225 max (yes I'm a cheap cunt, what of it)

If you have a phone that is pretty new I think you would be set since Instagram doesn't really show off all the capabilities of a real camera.
If you want a camera you are going to be stuck with point-and-shoot type of cameras. I would just do a quick google search for "best cameras under £150" and just compare prices from various online retailers.

On a side note if you have the chance to go to Greece I would highly recommend it. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and I am thinking about going back there again next summer.

Thank you, I will have a look. My phone is very new so probably would be alright. Never thought of that.

As for Greece, you can't flush your shit in Greece so I'll avoid it with all my heart.

Haha that was the one thing I disliked about Greece. Doesn't mean you have to avoid it though ;(

If you need a free tour guide for Turkey, hit me up. I only need food and Im good :)
I always loved traveling to the not "touristy" parts, but was never into backpacking.
Im planning on a trip next semester across eastern europe, cause Ill be staying in Romania.
Also, I do happen to be writting this from Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Word of advice if you want to visit the 'stans for any reason: THEY ALL HATE THE US PASSPORT (except Kazakh& Kyrgyzstan) AND GOOD LUCK GETTING A VISA.

If you are able to, I would visit Cyprus. EU/US passports have no issue entering from the NORTH (Turkish) to the South, but I am not sure vicaversa. However, the only way to enter the North is from Turkey. It has the world's last divided capitol, and across the border of the 2 sides is amazing how different they are. They dont look like each other, and the Turkish side looks stuck in time

Most interesting place i ever traveled to was DPR Korea (North) - if your ever in the region i would seriously recommend it, before it opens up and changes.

I once considered it, but I am scared to go because of religous reasons, and do not want to end up in a Labor camp

I avoid Turkey at the moment, there's too much shit going on in and around it unfortunately. It is somewhere I'd love to visit in the future, when the issues surrounding it are resolved/not as bad.

I am British, so the 'stans won't be too bad for me, plus I have a muslim family background so there's always a topic of conversation for me to engage in with locals should I need to rely on it.

One thing you sould do in the action of travelling is take photos. I have been fortunate enough to been to quite alot of places. But one thing I only started to do recently was take photos. It seems that every time I come back from a trip i only remember the big things I did while away on a trip . When you take a lot of pictures you can remind your self of every little detial. Also do not just do the main attraction stuff go off course and dive into the native culture. Also look for the unique and special traits of every new person u meet. And finally enjoy ever single moment you have on the trip. And that's really all I have to say.
