Started working on a store with Dodge ages ago when he was still here. I'll have time to work on it in a few weeks after uni is over.

It's not much work to insert a few addons to the server, we're far from bloated as far as mods go, and we have admins on the server like 20 hours out of the day. Even so you could just make it based on playtime and have an auto kick for the AFK's.
I just don't think a desire for vanilla servers is as prevelant as you're making it out to be, especially 13 years into a game. Although I agree there should be caution with adding too many modifications to the server, I don't think it should be dismissed altogether.

oh yea for sure, I'm not trying to dismiss it, and I'm not totally against it. Just giving my input on it, and the things that could go wrong :)

Also, I believe Monsieur GoldGames brought this up at a previous meeting (can't remember if it was admin or not) and the reason we didn't go forward with it then was because of the hassle of dealing with purchasing "EgN Credits" with real money, though if I recall correctly, the suggestion was aimed more at maintaining the server with a bigger incentive to donate. the issue with that is people doing charge backs and still keeping the "skins", and the higher ups having to deal with that. But that is only an issue if we let people purchase credits, or w/e.

Would be fun to just have it in game as something for playing, and like you said, boot AFK'ers or people who abuse it.

I feel like a store would be a little much, the only way that Ts and CTs should get credit is for every half hour they're on, and say like 1 credit for every round won on their team. The less incentive to kill all Ts the better tbh, dealing with Nazi CTs is probably the worst thing plaguing our server at the moment. What we do need and I would love though is some sort of stat tracking system, that'd be cool. Maybe a bomb mod too? Not just any bomb on the map, one that randomly spawns with the Ts.

Tbh I feel like the server as it stands is amazing, we really do have a great number of interesting personalities that make for some great late night gaming. This isn't going to be the premier jailbreak but I think we could tweak it to kinda reward those who play the gamemode 24/7

Well Ts can get credit for killing/surviving etc, CTs can get credits for surviving. There are ways to properly implement this, but something like this probs should not go on jb 1st.

Ight so im permabanned but idrc gonna comment on this. Just disable earning credits in spectate. HOE does it on their servers(I know you aren't trying to be like HOE But still). Also just do it off time played. Or time played and when a T kills a CT, CT's Shouldn't get credits for killing T's as it would make more people mfk or fk.

Like Doldol said shouldn't go on jb. This type of stuff I feel messes with the gameplay of the server as well.
