So I've been placed in a very tough situation, and I really need to hear the opinions from a lot of people because its basically a new step in my life. I hope that people take this thread seriously.
So I've been thrown two options at me and I want to see what you guys think I should do. Kind of like a "decide my fate" kind of thing. So once you have read over both options, if you could give me a yes or no at the poll above then comment below why you chose that option, that would be fantastic.
Back Story:
So as some of you know, my father is a pastor and he gets calls from different churches to be the pastor at their church. My father is a well known pastor in the Moravian congregation, so hes had many offers to go to different churches and preach at them. He recently accepted a job out in Banning, California and will be moving out there in June. I have two years left of college and they want me to move out there with them. I've thought of everything and these are the two options I've come across. Mostly the people who have made these huge life decisions before might be of great use, so just read the two options I have.
Option #1:
So my first option is to move out to LA and continue my college education out there. I want to apply to California State University of Northridge for Film: Directing and Screenwriting (cheapest option and well worth it), but there are a few problems with that. If I want to go there, I'll have to apply a year ahead of time, and the semester when I apply, I have to have a total of 60 credits. Now by the end of this semester ill have 54 credits, so ill be looking at going to college at CSUN during the fall of 2018. So I'd have to go to a community college for a semester, get 60 credits total, apply for CSUN, then take a semester off. However, if I go, ill be close to family, wont have to worry about this stupid winter weather, ill be close to friends in EgN, and ill be away from this stupid winter weather.
Option #2:
My second option is to stay at the college I'm currently at for an entire year, then move out to California. I have two huge video projects that my campus has voted me onto and approved, and that would be amazing for my film portfolio. Ill have a 15 hours a week job next year which is phenomenal for a student worker, Ill be able to stay on campus over the summer and work for minimum wage, 37 hours a week, and my college dorm room would be free, and I'd get a raise next year. Ill also be able to get my own place, ill buy a car, and ill have insurance. The main problem is I wont have my parents here if I need them, and ill have to afford to ship all my stuff over to California when I move out there. So those are basically my two options. I hope that I can get some feedback on what might be the right decision. I just need some thoughts to show my family the decision I'm making is a good one. I've already made up my mind, but i want to see if its whats logical. I appreciate the time, and if you have questions id love to answer them.

I'd say stay and finish up what you're doing, seeing as you have a guaranteed job and place to stay, while still completing school and adding to your portfolio.
Just skype your parents if you get homesick or some shit, or fly out there for a weekend (plus holidays you'll probably be visiting them anyway). I wouldn't risk losing out on some good experience and a job because it snows a little bit...

The Senate: Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? Anakin: No The Senate: I thought not. It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side, he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. Anakin: He could actually save people from death? The Senate: The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. Anakin: What happened to him? The Senate: He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself. Anakin: Is it possible to learn this power? The Senate: Not from a Jedi.
First of all I'd like to say choose option 2 because as you're saying you'll already be working at campus for minimum wage (which isn't a lot probaly) but it's still going to be good for your portfolio. You'll continu having your dorm room for free so all to worry about is the food. When all that is done you already worked, had time to save up enough money to ship ur shit if needed and you'll be good to go. It's like you'll be doing a lot more in less time and you already will make money with it.. I wouldn't have to wait to decide because later in your life you'll be away from your parents anyways. So pull your shit together and become a grown up >:D
Now aside from this post. It's not because you received staff privileges that you have to use them for a personal poll.. People will always shit post or not comment at all either or... That's what you'll have to deal with instead of trowing down that fucking ban hammer.. Stop threatning people with your power.. use it for the EgN stuff, not personal sh!t.. Sorry to say that aswel.
I would have picked option 2, going to another school seems like an annoying thing to me. If you live in a campus i wouldnt worry about mommy and daddy, there are plenty of other people then can help you out with all your problems.

Dont say things like that. It makes you look power hungry and unwanted with the members.

Go with option 2 for a year apply for la during that time and by the time it's accepted you will have enough credits to transfer. You will gain job experience living alone a car and then just take all hat stuff with you to cali.
Side note what makes your posts any more valuable than the rest of us. What makes shit posts on your threads deserve a ban compared to other threads.

I'd prefer option 2.
1. I live close to ya. ;)
2. Moving just seems to much in my opinion for this kind of matter. For option 2 you are given more benefits. Yes, family is always important but your future is the most important. Once you finish with the college you're in atm, then It would be fine to move.

I see no real problem with Option 2, except for some worries on the financial side. I left home for my last 2 years of high school, went to a different city far away from friends, and I don't regret it to this day. In fact, it changed me for the better. I think you shouldn't worry too much and go with your gut feeling.
