FastDL: EgN's Recent Issue

Soooooo the thing about FastDL....

So Doldol and I have been talking about this broken mess for a while now.
We've tried to fix it with a photon wrench,
banged it up with Lucile from The Walking Dead, and even tried putting the
internal fires out with some grease.
However, its still breaking and thats a problem. Though, since Doldol and I are now in a
higher place together, we can use more advanced tools to fix it.
So Doldol and I will be fixing FastDL once and for all.
Now that we have some serious Area-51 equipment, we'll be tackling this problem and making it
brand spanking new. So sit tight, this may take a bit.

In what way was it broken before you started messing with it? In what way is it still broken. Give details instead of the gibberish. Seems to be fine on my end minus the fact people can't seem to give others access. . I'll stay tuned don't make me start complaining. Don't make me use my own server for fastdl. Please don't wear out Doldol I need him to play games with me.

All is fine man lol, but the main problem we are having is people are taking a long time to download maps through FastDL. Now, I thought the same thing you thought when you read that sentence. "Might be their terrible third party internet." However, sometimes it takes me ages to download maps too, and mostly everyone knows here that I have high speed internet. So we will be looking into the issue. Also, people need access to it, we need to remove files that are clogging it up, and just making it look nice.

Thanks. Umm there are some uncompressed files in fastdl I would say make sure they get compressed and delete the uncompressed. Try to leave most of the gmod stuff unless you find uncompressed files then if course delete them. If you want give me and Phillip access to clean up gmods folder. better yet if your not sure what the file is please don't delete it we don't want to deal with trying to figure out why something doesn't have a texture or model or whatever.
