Admin & Ban Reports

Hi everyone,

I've noticed recently that many admins are giving players an hour ban or less to avoid doing ban reports. I won't mention any names but I know some of you openly admitted to doing this so you don't have to fulfill your duties and responsibilities as an admin. I know I don't have much room to talk, but lately it's gotten out of hand. I believe there should be some type of consequence for those admins who abuse the 30 minute/1 hour bans to avoid filling out reports.

Feel free to discuss below. I just feel as this is just getting way out of hand and should be handled accordingly.

Yes, this is a huge issue. We'd appreciate it if you guys would make 1 hour bans and 30 minute bans instead of 29 and 59 minute bans. We need to have those reports on record for future cases. If I see people are creating bans to avoid making a report, I will take action on it. Thank you for this.

If that's the case then staff would also make reports to all of their bans. Haha

Sourcebans keeps the record you idiot the only need for reports is for appeals.

Meanwhile I have problems with some admins banning people by shoving their feelings in with their powers.

Just for clarification, what if the bans are hour worthy, besides MFK's?

Just for clarification, what if the bans are hour worthy, besides MFK's?

He means when someone bans someone for under an 1 hour to avoid making a report. So like 59 minutes.

Shit post? The fact that we have such incompetent staff is the shit. Let's go out of our way to punish people for not making the ban longer.

Let's say a sign says no traspassing beyond this point and people are standing outside of that limit. The police officer arrests them anyways because they were just too close to that area.

I mean, if they are so lazy to not ban them that extra minute so they avoid making a report, then they arent following the rules we set out for them.
