I feel as if this topic should be talked about because I want to know why we don't have a rule against it.

Now many people of all ages like to play the game CS:S and I feel as if we should respect that. Now we cant put a filter on what things are said in game (except for racism and death threats) but we can make sure the visual aspect of the server is "clean".

I wanted to bring this to the attention of the community, because just the other day I was playing Jailbreak at my parents house and there was a porn spray in the back of my cell. Now i was forced to AFK freeze, so I couldn't look away. My parents came in, saw the spray and had a nice chat with me about it. They then suggested I bring it to the community to make a rule against porn sprays.

I honestly see no reason to have them on Jailbreak, and I feel as if the server would be better with said rule. I know there is a rule that states if someone feels uncomfortable about a spray they need to remove it, but that doesn't apply to parents/others who don't want to see that walking by the kids computer screen.

I feel as if we do our best to cater towards all ages, more people would play on our servers. Parents would see the server as "kid friendly" visually, and let their children hop on and have fun.

Idk, thats just my opinion. Preferably I dont like to see a girl on a guy, jerking him off while I want to enjoy a nice game of jailbreak. I also dont feel like telling everyone with those sprays to change it because that can get overwhelming during our troll times. I know others dont want to see it too, so maybe we can come to a nice agreement, or meet in the middle somewhere.

We do have a rule against it

Not very specific am I right? People can get away with a porn spray really easily by saying its not disturbing to them.

It's up to the highest ranking admin on whether a player can have the spray or not. If someone complains about the spray and there is any reason to view it as "disturbing" then it is to be removed instantly. The is one of the things we voted on as a community to change the rule on, and it's been decided the community wanted these kinds of sprays and are now able to be more broad as to what is not allowed.

Some things the community shouldn't have a say in. Like what's going to benefit the community more? Having porn on the servers, or not? Certain things are okay, but porn is one of those gray areas that shouldn't be ignored. It's useless to have it on Jailbreak and it's inappropriate. The higher ups need to have a bit more say in what goes down, and they also need to focus on what's good for the clan? Businesses allow some ideas from the people to be placed into action, but you don't see a bank teller saying "We should be able to have porn as our background on our computers." It just makes the server look bad is all I'm saying.

We aren't trying to appeal to your parents.

Porn sprays should be immediately removed the second someone complains. I don't even know why people have gifs of half-naked woman as their signature, but it's allowed. Just silently judge those who constantly need to validate their sexuality like the rest of us.

I don't see a purpose for it either, and I'm not quite sure what that last part has to do with anything to be honest. It's just stupid and it's common sense to remove that kind of material and keep the forums nice. There's really no reason for it to be there.

And the retard meter is through the roof. Porn falls under that rule...
