edit: as to not be off-topic, getting into Government can be great. I haven't personally ever had anything to do with Government (at least in Canada), but we need good people out there keeping the not so honest in check.
There's a gentlemen in a town near me who is 19 years old, and just got voted in as an MPP for their jurisdiction. I think he's the youngest in Ontario, so pretty cool to get involved, especially if you think you can make a difference.
And in these times, more young people getting involved and making themselves heard will be fantastic, seeing as we are the future generation (until we learn to exploit better than our predecessors).
