This. Normally, a Guard does not need to walk through a vent IRL, unless someone may be there. But if there is a mass revolt (ie Warday,) THEN HES GOING TO GO WHEREVER HE NEEDS. Rules say to play your role, this is how I would enforce it

and to specify, you role as a CT is to keep the T in line. Not run around shooting open vents and finding secret weapons.

of course opening vents can help dave, see a T run in pool from across the map, use pool tp. if you have all T's with u and ur giving orders, dont open vent.
