The only ones I think really matter are the ones who haven't showed up in months without putting in some sort of LOA.

Though, I don't get why you all take your tags off when you start playing a CS:GO match anyways. Are you ashamed to be in EgN or something?

I usually don't wear my tags or have Gold as my name. I just change it to something weird so that people don't add me as a friend and spam me with CS:GO invites when they need a guy.

Eh, idk. I never really minded that happening (though it happened very rarely for me, since I'm bad ;p), and I usually just politely said no thank you and removed them.

Still, aside from games that specifically change your name to something like just EgN or permanently make your name EgN| Blah, I don't see why so many people remove their tags. They can add you no matter what by just clicking on your name in the leaderboard on CS:GO, so it's not all that hard for them to add you no matter what you do. I guess I get that you don't want people to search for you, but it seems a bit much to change your name and remove tags for each match. Eh, to each his own I suppose.

The only reason i removed my tags and change my name is to go undercover watching little kids act stupid when they think no admins are on, beyond that i wear my tags proudly on cs:go because i suck.

The difference is Bourne puts his tags back on after a match unlike most Members. And if you're worried that Bourne will remove those who are ingame atm without tags. I'm almost positive he's referring to those who haven't worn them for over a month lol

Yea, but why do we wear the tags in the first place? We wear them to denote that we are in fact a part of the Elevated Gaming Network. If people are allowed to take them off, then why do we wear them at all? Take them off to "play a game." Do any of you have an idea how backwards that sounds? If anything, that is the only time we SHOULD wear our tags. When we are in game, people see our name, if nobody sees our name with tags because we never wear them, then whats the point, why wear them at all. No offense needy but comments like yours are kind of annoying, where it only matters if the tags are on "at the end of the day." That tells me that you and others conform to bare minimum of the standards set forth by EgN, and goes to show that half these people don't give a shit about the community anyway. Like Xanderian said, are you ashamed to be in EgN?

And I think Xanderian is completely right, and technically he isn't even a part of EgN. I understrand that Bourne basically sets a precedent that seems to make it ok, he says he has a "good reason" (too lazy to quote). Any way you could share? Not trying to attack anybody here, even though I said "you" a lot.
