Next Game to try

Dave and I have somewhat talked and said that we would prefer either 5E or Pathfinder. I prefer 5E just because I have the books and stuff, but I'd be down to try Pathfinder.

we are currently tied for both 3.5 or deathwatch. as of now, i will adjust the poll to just these two options.

exactly how i feel. 40k is limited in general. as i've said, i'm very interested in open world games. i want the ability to do whatever i'd like. i don't want to be straight up told what i have to do. i want to do things because my character feels an obligation to because he's a good person and he wants to help, not he does it or the overseer kills me.

At this point, they may not be votes for DnD, but more-so votes against 40k. 3.5 and Pathfinder are similar, since PF is based off of 3.5, right? Let's just do Pathfinder.

votes have spoken, we will start a smaller session of pathfinder this sunday to test group reliability with complete freedom of actions.

I am trusting you (the players) to make your own characters following the core rules of pathfinder.

Dark heresy will continue next sunday at it's usual time

since corvus wants to have more character freedom, i will ask for the following when making your character

1. what brought you here?
2. who are you?
3. what can you offer to this alliance?

3 is optional, however, 1,2 are required so we dont end up with characters who just exist for the sake of existing. same as with dark heresy, I expect the players to have an understanding of what their characters can or cant do. as well as who they are.
