just putting this out there, Kharn already decided who was right in this post and what should be done at the admin meeting. Higher ups don't even have to do anything but hand out punishments.

I remember Molly or phisty or whoever it was leaving and changing his spray when asked. I also remember you screaming in your mic over warden for two rounds begging the person to spray their spray more because you were offended and needed examples for your report. Screaming in your mic isn't telling an admin a thing. Like Randy said I asked him to get on when you started losing your shit. I was being warden and a pretty good one at that so wasn't in spec to search for a spray. whatever it was seemed to be only bothering you no one else seemed to blink an eye.
You and the person spraying the sprays have a prior history of arguing so is this really about a rule or is this your personal way of getting back at said person? You need to understand your just feeding the trolls next time sit back and wait or send a message in admin chat or make your own report. Admins are not your servant we will address issues as we SEE them in the appropriate manner.

I agree that the rule should be specific. When you give people a yard, invariably they take a mile (especially in Jail Break). I can well imagine people complaining about lingerie models being used as somebody's spray because the objectification of women offends them. Or if the spray is political, that could open up complaints from players that don't agree with that ideology and find such thoughts "disturbing".
Outrageous, yes. But what I'm saying is that it's a slippery slope.
Jail Break players nitpick the finest details of all the rules. Loopholes are regularly taken advantage of and even the wording of rules is often bought into question. Keeping the guidelines specific is, in my honest opinion, to the benefit of the server. Things may have changed over the last six months or so since I last played Jail Break regularly but I always felt that most of the players needed set boundaries. Otherwise, they resort to giving ridiculous orders like "first person to my spray gets LR" and then slaughter 20 terrorists.
I'd word it as such: No porn, no gore, no discomforting imagery and no visible (or implied) genitalia of any kind. If it's NSFW (Not Safe For Work), it's not safe for this server.

That should cover most sprays should it not?
You're exactly right.
And just for clarification, what does that cover the the current rule does not?

You're just not catching the point at all here...
You're not offering valid counter points. I wrote out a massive post, and asked for one explaination, and you act like i'm not even trying to get your point. I'm not the problem here.

I am not offering valid counter points? What the hell lol? I already responded to your "massive post."

And i asked you another question. When confronted, you just give one liners. I'm trying to help us improve and you're just trying to bicker. If you don't have time to stand your ground, i don't even have time to humor your posts.
Honestly, I'd just tell people not to be a smartass if they claim that something is disturbing when it's really not, and start punishing them. It's fucked up, but honestly I'd say it's also fucked up for them to try taking apart every little rule. I've started getting more strict in how I deal with those type of people.
At the same time, however, I'd say Mootinie's suggestion on how to word the rule works pretty well.
Siberiac, he actually gave some good responses from what I can tell and they did go against your argument. I won't say I agree with the points he's made, but they are there and they do counter yours. What I think he's trying to say is that he wants it to be more specific so all admins enforce the same way so as not to confuse players. I don't really agree with that, but I do see the point he's trying to make
In other words, it's not that the original rule doesn't include all that, it's that it's way too broad and includes too much. (Or too little, in the cases of some admins not finding anything disturbing at all)

Why wouldn't you want the admins to enforce rules equally in the same way? There would be less confusion and more fairness. Less confusion and more fairness = better gameplay.
