Wait I didn't know Happy left...
Just though he stepped down as in-game leader with NBK taking over.

What did I miss, my beloved team in disarray just weeks before defending their Major title?

kio is a frag monster
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Happy hasn't left. I thought he was though. Somebody took a picture of the nV team at a sponsorship appearance the day after they got knocked out of IEM Katowice and Happy was the only player not present for it. Kio was, surprisingly. I think Happy is the cause of the internal problems, he strikes me as being super emo when things aren't working out and Kio is simply the scapegoat, paying the ultimate price because of his own bad form. nV lost twice to G2 (ex-Titan) today, 16-11 on cache, 16-12 on train. They're tilting pretty hard right now and it's difficult to imagine that they will fix all their problems in time for Columbus.

Talking of Columbus, I naturally have Fnatic winning it, beating LG in the final. Those two teams, alongside Na'Vi, are the best three teams in the world at the moment by quite a large distance. Astralis are not hitting the levels, pyth is still unproven in NiP's line-up and Virtus.pro are so awful right now that I don't know where to start. It's really Fnatic's to lose. If they show up, they will win it, simple as that.

Devil struggled last night. He got only 6 frags in one game. It's understandable he's new to the team still needs to figure things out. Although Happy is fragging like crazy. He played pretty well last night.

You are right Columbus will be Fnatic's to lose. All I say is watch out for LG they will do great. Very tactical and fallen can go crazy with Coldzera. Na'Vi can also sneak in there, with FaZe who always seem to do well at majors. EnvYus will be lucky if they can just go to the quarters and stay legends. Teams like cloud9 and G2(ex-titan) can maybe become legends. To be honest a lot can change in 3 weeks, but I will be glued to this Major like I usually am.

Bourne: Fer has been one of the best players in the world in the first three months of the year (might even have the highest rating of all). LG are seriously very very good. With regards Cloud9, they're in a group with G2, Na'Vi & Virtus Pro... they have to win two games to advance from that group haha. I'm not convinced at all that that will happen.

Ohh. I see, well rip Cloud9. True fer has been amazing. If you just look at the first round of games it's pretty even who is going through from the first round. All the lesser teams are matched up against stronger teams if they win those game I'll be surprised. There is only one game for me where I can see the challenger winning the first round game and that is VP vs G2, maybe Envyus vs CLG with how envyus played lately other than that I see no win for any others.

However the second round will be a spectacle of close competitive games going right down to the wire. I feel like that might be the best round of games that will be open to go to any team on the day making good Counter-Strike.

Yeah, I'm rooting for G2 here. We're long overdue two French teams qualifying from groups in a major. I don't think it's happened since August 2014 when both Epsilon (Shoxie, GMX, sf, fxy0 & Kioshima) and Team LDLC (Happy, apEX, Maniac, KQLY & Uzzziii) advanced to the quarters at ESL One Cologne. Funny fact, Titan's all-star line-up of ScreaM, KennyS, Ex6TenZ, SmithZz and NBK went out in the groups!

Don't be so confident, I'm worried Envuys might not even make it through. Then there will be now French teams progressing from the group stages. This is a very real possibility.

Don't understand why NBK is their IGL. Happy is one of the greatest in game leaders in competitive CS:GO history. To take him off that duty just seems ridiculous to me because it greatly impacts NBK's fragging ability and doesn't enhance Happy's who will likely still play the same lurker and secondary AWP'er role that he's always played.
