Doldol tried to teach people how to code for the servers, but very few people took an interest (several times by the way). When his plugins break, he fixes them. Time and time again, the community has refused to show him the appreciation that he deserves for this considering he sacrifices more time than anybody here to make sure they work as they should do. He's invested in numerous members and has since promoted them. He's shown that if you care, and put in the effort, you will be promoted. Doldol is also the only person I know that has taken an active interest in running EgN and has shown numerous times that he has the credentials to do it.

He's done everything within his power to make Jail Break a better server. He's coded numerous plugins, some of which were removed when the community didn't feel they were what's best for the server. When it became immediately apparent that having a "Head Admin" wasn't in the best interest of the server, Doldol went against the majority opinion of the community. Where was the outrage then? The !rtd issue was also put to vote and acted upon accordingly.

Pretty solid track record if you ask me...

I have heard time and time again from multiple people that he doesn't even code. He just takes things available to the public, changes them slightly, and slaps his name on them.

Not true in the slightest, time and time again have I seen Doldol working hard, just for jailbreak to be functional. He takes advice from the community, remember the mute plugin? That got removed after the clan was unhappy. More recently, the knife plugin? That was removed because it was broken and lagged up the server. Don't just take it out on Doldol and his abilities to run a community because you don't agree with one or a few of his ideologies. It's time to start appreciating the Leader that works time and time again, and stop going off what you hear from other people.

If you don't believe me, we'll set you up with a repository account where you can see all of our code from the past 5~ years, the code that drives the website, Jailbreak and the fact that it all works together, that isn't an easy task in itself. Corporate countries will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars for a platform that is scalable and synchronized. We're currently in the process of rewriting Jailbreak, something that I helped out with. If you think that Doldol slaps his name on other's work, then you're wrong.

I know all this because I've been helping Doldol with the process of fixing Jailbreak. Hell, I even rewrote the clantag plugin just so we could see who was who. That's not something that was downloaded, changed and had a "name slapped on it".
