Full description of what happened: I join the server. Reports that this guy is ddossing the server. I don't understand it to well but he went CT with no name so I told him to change his name or he will be kicked. He was rude but came back as "bob" in spectator he rejoined the server multiple times but stayed as spectator and had a sly attitude. He rejoined the server again with no name. This whole time the server is lagging due to a ddos in process. I ban him for an hour for ignoring admins. The lag goes away.

I think he might be linked to the ddos in someway? But as I don't know much about it I only banned him for an hour for ignoring admins.

I encountered this player after his ban expired and came to tie conclusion that it was Venom.

Venom has already been banned from our servers for multiple ddos threats and attempts. He joined them server initially with no name, and later changed it to "O.o".

Edit: He also took down the server about 10 minutes after his ban. He also just made a joke thread asking why the JB server was down as soon as he took it down.

Venom has recently been causing problems. Sadly, at the moment there is nothing we can do about it, seeing as I'm not sure how much Doldol can do, and Kharn's on LOA.

Odds are Venom will get off of his high-horse at some point in the near future (Such as some point tomorrow) and stop DDoSing/Crashing the server.

I never understood why people think they're so awesome because they can DDoS. All you need is about $5 and you can DDoS whomever and whatever you want.

Also: Venom is a ban on sight. If any admin sees him or one of his alternate accounts perm ban him.

People get high on thinking they have the power to do anything to ones server. We must not faulter and overcome this high-horse ego of his.

DDOS'ing is illegal so you can take legal action, but like you said most people just have a DDOS protection. EgN really doesn't have a major DDOS problem so I doubt we will pay for protection.

Dodd is a serious thing. And EgN can take actions on this guy; or hope he dose not dodd the server again.

If we take action in "Dodd" they might think we're fools...
