So we all know about the policy that only staff and up and people involved can post on complaints/ban reports/ban protests, right?
I'd like to point something out.
This was a recent ban "protest" by a upstanding gentleman of society zero0.
Clearly not a serious complaint. He didn't use the format, he didn't name the admin, and made no effort to actually accomplish anything.
Well people started to reply (responses were removed) and Siberiac said this and promptly locked the thread
Well that is the policy, right? We shouldn't be posting on any complaints/ban reports/ ban protests at all, right?
Well, not quite.
Back in December there was a complaint on Doldol by Bstylz.
He didn't use the format either, but it was arguably more serious than zero0's
I have been chewed out in the past for posting on complaints and on this complaint there were a multitude of people replying to this complaint that were below staff and not involved while higher-ups gave no attempt to intervene on the seemingly illicit posting. So I got a little peeved and made a reply about it. Siberiac responded.
We need to define the guidelines of rules if it isn't clear on what we can post on and what we can't. If this isn't made up, then it was wrong to lock zero0's thread/remove replies in the first place. If this isn't true, then you can selectively hand pick which ones people can and can't reply on. I almost got banned from the fucking clan for this. It needs to be defined.
