So? There's no limit to the amount of money we print either, the idea is that the vast majority of dogecoins are mined within the first couple of years, and everything else that is mined simply combats inflation and some other issues currencies in general have (people losing wallets, etc.)

not true, litecoin and litecoin derivatives (dogecoin, etc.) are built to resist people designing machines solely for mining (i.e. ASICs)
bitcoin is incredibly versatile but is becoming a tool for people who are already engrossed in business and finance to make shitloads of money, dogecoin is quickly becoming recognized as a "currency for the people", evidenced by their fundraising activities, willingness to help new members, and generosity.
