My teacher would make us put the peace sign up, and I remember vaguely the peace sign backwards was a curse in some other country, we did that and thought it was the most hysterical thing...

Line leader master-race. I earned it through respect. I practically beat up the biggest kid in our class for laughing at me, and nobody has questioned my leadership so far. All the plebeians followed suit.
