I'm confused how do I connect? It doesn't seem to be letting me :/
Well, there's a few ways to go about it.
Most of the below tutorials start at the CS:GO home page, so navigate there before trying anything unless otherwise specified.
Searching for it:1. Press the big "Play" button.
2. Select "Browse Community Servers"
3. Press the "Internet" tab and simply search for it. This one is the most time-consuming option.
Using Console to connect:1. Start at your steam games library. Right click "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive".
2. Click "Properties", then click "Set Launch Options" which is found at the bottom of the little window you just opened.
3. It now gives you a box to type in. In that box, type this exactly: -console
4. Start your CS:GO. A big window of squiggly, colored text should now appear. You can either use this now to connect or close it down.
5a. Connect to the server by typing into console "connect csgoooo.game.nfoservers.com:27015" without the quotation marks. This'll put you in the server!
5b. If you closed the window, go to your Options tab then click "Keyboard / Mouse". Scroll to the bottom. You should now see an option to change the key to toggle developer console.
6b. Choose your desired key and make sure it saves. Exit to the main menu and press the button you chose.
6c. See step 5a.
Exploiting your buddies:1. Aquire a friend who plays CS:GO and has played on the EgN server before or somehow has it saved.
2. Tell said friend to go on the server.
3. Find said friend in your friends menu (either on the homepage or through steam.
4a. If done through the homepage, find your friend and right click his name. Press join.
4b. If done through steam, find your friend on your friendslist. Click the little arrow next to his name. This will bring out a dropdown menu.
5b. Click "Join Game" OR "See Game Info". If the server has a password, the latter is more effective.
6b. You should now be joining the server or you were promted to input a password. If you got the password box, input password and click "Join".
