Letters From Iwo Jima

I fucking love this movie, probably my favorite war movie after Tae Guk Gi. This movie is a sister to Clint Eastwood's "Flags of Our Fathers".
The movie mentioned was the battle of Iwo Jima through the eyes of the men who put the original flag up on Iwo Jima. You know, this picture (The current one is much more dramatacized, and they ignored the fact that these guys battled up a fucking hill against impossible odds, only to be sent back down for a bigger flag.)

Regardless, this movie is from the perspective of the Japanese on Iwo Jima. They were sent there on a last minute defense, seeing as Iwo Jima was the island that would allow American bombers to actively bomb all of Japan. You follow an ex-baker named Saigo, who along with 2 other storylines (The General of the island, and another soldier named Shizunu) you experience the battle through their eyes. The sense of desperation and doom is overwhelming, and paired with the gruesome realities of war, this movie is a fucking tearjerker. Watching Americans commit war crimes, the letters of dead soldiers being read, and the fact that every Asian looks like my cousin, I cried like a good 30 minutes throughout this movie. I couldn't help but see myself being Saigo, watching my best friends die right before my eyes.

Team America: World Police 10/10. Need I say more?

Battleship 8/10 Had terrible acting in some parts. And I couldn't tell who was the older brother or not.

BUMPIN' THIS SHIT!

The Silence Of The Lambs, it's quite old but it's a landmark in horror/thriller movies and I give it a 9/10. It's the film with the infamous "It rubs the lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again".

I watched Glengarry Glen Ross the day before and I give that a 8.5/10. Not exciting as much but a great portrayal of salesmen and their interesting characters.

Predators

A lot of action and a nice ending. nothing special, but a nice sci-fi action move!

Been there, done that. No regrets, never give up on what's important. Prioritize. Happiness is all that matters.

It (also referred to as Stephen King's IT) is a 1990 horror/drama miniseries based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. The story revolves around an inter-dimensional predatory life-form, which has the ability to transform itself into its prey's worst fears, allowing it to exploit the phobias of its victims. It mostly takes the form of a sadistic, wisecracking clown called "Pennywise the Dancing Clown". The main protagonists are "The Losers Club", a group of outcast kids who discover Pennywise and vow to destroy him by any means necessary. The series takes place over two different time periods, the first when the Losers first discover Pennywise as children, and the second when they're called back as adults to defeat Pennywise, who has resurfaced. Definitley a 9/10
