I believe Yio needs to be staff. He's constantly active on the forums and the servers. He's a good guy, and I believe he can fix some of the issues that the CS:S servers have been having. Just saying, no one else has seemed to have any interest in fixing the minuscule problems that we have at the moment. So why not put someone who is willing to in the position to do so? Thanks for hearing me out!

Now say, if he was given Staff, how can he fix the server? It's not as simple as it seems. If Natsu can provide a plausible solution as to why the server isn't listed for some? Then great. He can do that. But so far, hasn't seemed to do so. Which it's not just some simple fix but what seems to be the larger issue is neither him or anyone else in the community has even attempted to populate the server so that's little to say he should be thrown in the position for well, just being active. So, would say you (Natsu, you, whoever wants an active server) should probably start with that but saying "x should get Staff because of an unresolved issue that i FEEL LIKE he can fix but hasn't shown that HE CAN, F7U12" is a noty

As for the "no one is doing anything". This was post by mattlikespie (Leader of the clan) just yesterday evening;

Stop, this doesn’t help the staff process or making someone staff. Constantly posting about “how great yio is” or “he should be staff” just looks terrible on the person. Yes, I understand you want to show your appreciation, but there is more than just weird feeling posts from his friends. As Needy said, what problems is he going to fix? What problems that you know of that need fixing? Why assume we are doing nothing to try to make the changes you guys have already asked for? Patience is a valuable virtue. Staff+ are dealing with a lot of issues at the moment during this trying time of change. We are still picking up the broken pieces of our recent shutdown, and trust me have been working hard.

Just saying for the future Yio, if this is a “whaaat? me? awe you shouldn’t have! i don’t know where he gets these crazy ideas! haha what a dude!” situation, please stop. If these are genuine comments from people, keep doing what you’re doing man, and I think you’ll have a shot. But know this, Staff is not a position for people who slack or have busy lives. If you are Staff of EgN, you have to be there every chance you can. EgN has to become part of your life, and Matt will tell you the same thing. You have to dedicate a lot of time to help make the servers better, come up with new ideas that will benefit the community, and think of ways to move forward. Staff takes away a lot of the fun if you just enjoy playing on the servers with your buds, because you are in a high position. You mustn’t let your friendships effect your judgement, and you must know the difference between a professional and conversational tone. You must show a great deal of maturity and have an unbiased scale of right and wrong.

When you think you can do all that and more to the best of your ability, then shoot for getting Staff. It’s no easy ordeal, but if you have the right heart for it, you’ll do fine.
