We aren't role-playing an IRL prison, we're playing a video game with some fun rules to make it (somewhat) submersive. If you make the choice to make you KOS and then bitch when you die, that's more than likely your fault. It's the other team's job to kill you when you do that shit.

You're using an argument based on "IRL guards" but then criticize my argument, saying that it's a game and shouldn't be compared to "IRL guards".

the point we r trying to make is, even in games guards know the jail better then the T's, it will always be like that even if u say "the t's made those secrets to escape". well yes, they can "make" them but still, the vending system isnt "made" by T's it was made by the CT's, wich allows them to know where it leads to, no?
i think with "secrets made by t's" we can say u and others mean the secrets wich have a wall infront of it and u can walk trough and tp's. i agree those secrets shouldnt be in knowledge of ct's (even tho we can see the names of t's behind it, but whatever) but the remaining vents are def ct knowledge .

I'm trying to say you are trying to over-step the whole "roleplaying" argument, but also try to point out flaws in the roleplaying aspect.
I'm just trying to show while, yes, there are some role-playing aspects, we are not an RPG. It's an FPS.

I agree with you, but my original argument when I posted this was that IF we are NOT roleplaying, then we have to get RID of the "no metagaming" rule, which in effect is establishing a roleplaying environment.
And if we KEEP the rule, then the roleplaying aspect SHOULD be enforced, because otherwise the rule does not add anything new.

You can still meta-game without it being RP related.
In essence (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), the rule is meant to help protect Ts from proactive guards who will knowingly sit at the end of a teleport when they have no knowledge that the T is headed there.
Rather than the rule being "No metagaming" then shouldn't it just be "No camping or accessing secrets without direct evidence of a T accessing it"?
It wouldn't really make sense for the rule to say "No metagaming" when what it is in place to prevent isn't exactly metagaming or only one aspect of it. How it is being interpreted right now is saying you can metagame A, B, and C information but not X, Y and Z. Pretty vague for a rule saying explicitly not to do something.

I didn't say the rule is perfect or working as intended, I said why it's there and what it was meant to be interpreted as.

I know, just saying what would make more sense based on what the rule is actually stating
