So my college has been on strike for 4 weeks now and it doesn't seem like it's going to resolve soon. RIP college tuition.

Also, they'll likely either reschedule classes (more likely) or refund tuition (less likely). They owe you services that you paid for.

Sorry to hear, must be frustrating. I would also imagine that getting dicked around by my job long enough that I'd be willing to shut down an establishment of higher learning for weeks is also frustrating.

So I hope a fair compromise is reached soon.

What are you studying?

My suggestion is you read. Is the library open? Go look for random shit in your section and spend time reading.

If not, look up research articles using whatever system your university uses for its students.

People (myself included) need to read more.

why is it on strike in the first place

The teacher's contract ended and they wanted a better one and they didn't get it so they're on strike for a better contract, and their proposal was denied.
