Okay my life s kinda hectic so I missed this and should've stopped it sooner. Sure you heard some stuff and all that, but it's simple really, we look at this people and I see people complain yes, then I go back to last year and think are we better of now then back then... the answer, yes far better.

These two individuals are putting countless hours into the servers and community. Getting into technical stuff and detail of who did what is irrelevant, the fact is We had a problem with the server and ctban, Dyno put in some effort to fix it. well deserved promotion. He handled a major attack(maybe a Cold War in someway) on Our server somewhat smoothly without completely shutting EgN down, stuff most people can't do cause the don't have the access he has. I hate pulling this but as Co-leader of EgN I trust him, and so does Kharn. that should be a sure sign you guys can too. So if you have a problem just go talk to him, find out why he did it, most of the stuff they can disclose to you. Getting promoted to staff+ takes us weeks and months of looking at someone and talking about it and yes sometimes it doesn't work out, sometimes it does I think just talk to him and get their point of view.

Matt is super active and really takes care of EgN like it's his baby. He cares for everyone and everything EgN related, as all the staff+ do. He helps with the servers, ts3, forums and members. I have respect for him and for what he does. in my personal opinion I would rate him to be one of the better staff EgN has ever had, as his role of Advisor continue we will see if he can mold into that. It is something different from Staff, you have to be suited for it, it's not for everybody.

So far the community are better off with them. Same for all the staff... Each one of them brings a specific skill to the group and we discuss everything together to reach a better answer for a problem with all of our perspectives taken into account.

Remember we disclose as much as we can to you guys, but we cannot share everything it would take to much time. Trust me on this these guys we have as Staff+ are united and doing a great job for EgN. You guys should trust them too.

Also staff if this fucks out of control lock it please. for now it seems fine.

EgN is a constantly evolving community. Even when on the surface everything seems calm, there are constantly problems that are being dealt with and discussed between the staff+. Not only are they charged with making sure the servers and our community stays under control, but also are charged with improvement/advancement.

As someone who has had to do extensive research on the topic for classes, I can tell you that not all management styles are the same, and for a community to survive multiple different styles are required for checks and balances. If you don't like a decision someone has made, try to understand their reasoning and give them a chance to talk it over with you before you put them on blast.

As for personally targeting those two, while i'm not as active as I used to be, I can honestly say that no matter what decision Kharn makes I would trust him 100%. I've been following this guy from group to group for 10 years now. Other than doldol and wolfie, i'm the longest standing member in the community. There's a reason that we're still surviving, even though the game is getting old and out dated. There's a reason that our community isn't a toxic cesspool like many others. Kharn hand picks these members to be pushed to the top of the chain, and constantly evaluates their performance. If changes need to be made, they're made, and if opinions are needed, they are gathered.

Just to wrap all this up, this isn't meant to be a personal attack at swim personally, but more of a reminder to everyone in the community. You're here for a reason, you enjoy EgN and the environment surrounding it. If you have a problem with someone higher-up you should probably ask them why before you start assuming and trying to air dirty laundry on the forums. Trust in your higher-ups, and that they will continue to push this community in a direction of success and fun, and most of all, spread love, not hate.

I haven't been in the community for long, but it is definitely one of the better communities I have been a part of.
Literally, I have not joined a clan in about 7-10 years because it was shit on CSS, and EgN revived this game for me.

Dyno has defended himself well enough, so I'll focus on me I suppose. I must say it's interesting that you quote things I've posted, mention what I've done as an Advisor yet provide examples of when I was a Staff. Might wanna check your dates there, it dismantles your credibility at the least. Kind of strange you premise my unworthiness that I can't tell if someone's hacking. I supposed I didn't know I needed this skill to manage 17 other servers, 5 Staff, and 168 members of an online community. Been focusing much of my time on recent Ddos actually instead even. I don't know about you, but I prefer to keep the server up and let 1 petty hacker join the server. And for heaven's sake, don't act like you know what we've been going through in that regard, because you don't.

Still don't really see why that post needed to be unlocked tbh.

I like this last one; Damn can't say I remember ever taking a plugin off the server. Never have myself anyway. Although I do remember spotting a fatal error in the sethealth code that not only threatened our Jailbreak server, but our entire server box. But eh, get mad, right? I mean the plugin was only replaced (and better) 30 minutes later. Ouch. But yea key thing here if you've been paying attention...I didn't take it out myself....hmmm....what would that mean...that I discussed it with other higher ups and they did it for me? Hmmm....it can't be! Impossible!

We don't know what the Staff do behind the scenes, and they tell us as much as they can. They are here to ensure you have a good time in this community with a nice managed server, and literally I don't care, it's your opinion but some opinions may be too far and kept to yourself. Mattlikespie and Dyno deserve their promotions. They have done much more than you have in this community in the space of 5 minutes.

We all have a specific place in this community, and we all are entitled to our own opinion everyone knows that, but there's a difference between an opinion and the actual thing itself. I don't see why you couldn't just speak to them yourself to get an actual answer on what's being done, and they will tell you as much as they can on what is being done, and what is to be done. Like for instance, I now and then ask Dyno the progress of jailbreak, how this ct ban linking to the forums going, and he tells me as much as he can tell me. You could do the same.

Dyno doesn't deserve the promotion? Last time I heard he's paying for the first few months of our new servers and yet he doesn't do much? He's increased the jailbreak's stability... he's administrating the server daily, and is very active, and yet you can't see how much work he has done?

CT Ban System - Already been said but where exactly does it say he created it? It's either I'm blind or actually isn't true, but hey think what you think.

Dyno is an amazing staff, and well truly deserves it. He's even helping me with gun game in creating a new plugin as the current plugin we had is bad and broke. That's how he deserves it, because not only does he help people, but he likes to help people, he'll even volunteer it.

Mattlikespie also deserves his promotion as much as anyone else, probably even more than anyone else. Hey it was a shock to me he got advisor as I never saw it coming, but I do know he deserves it considering the amount of dedication and time he has put into EgN is amazing. From day 1 he's shown his capabilities of being a staff, advisor and in future, maybe a co-leader if he continues to do well.
