i think u will outgrow that bike very quickly and will want to upgrade to something with a little more power. if your weight is less than 140lbs, i guess a ~300cc bike would be alright, but if u weigh more than that, i would highly recommend getting something 600cc. gsxr600 are pretty sturdy bikes and can take a good beating if you ever intend on stunt riding. theyre also very torque-y. if you want something more nimble and maneuverable, maybe a cbr600rr, and if u want something all around balanced, r6 or zx6r are nice. watever bike you decide to get tho, id highly recommend getting a steering damper. you do not want to experience tank slap.

No matter what bike you get, you'll always out grow it your going to like it for a little while then you'll end up wanting a faster bike lol, Nothing better than breaking to slap your testicles on the tank it's an amazing feeling lmao

that is true to an extent but a 600 is a great starter size. all the people i ride with/taught how to ride that got 250s or 300s end up getting a 600 the following season and they all say the 250/300 ends up being a waste of money.

a couple years ago, i t-boned a car doing an illegal uturn at around 40-50mph and put a big softball sized dent into my gastank. it is definitely not an amazing feeling...lol. don't squid and make sure u wear gear.

and incase some of u arent familiar with tank slap/tank slapping, its also known as speed wobble. the video shows him going kinda fast but it can happen at any speed over 20mph. the faster ur going the more this shit hurts. it starts aroudn the 1:00 mark

He's limited to a 125cc only due to his age, until he's 21+ He can get a restricted license so he won't have to worry about speed wobble

Honestly, i think i'll stick with the 125 for a couple years. If this one breaks or, does get boring, i don't think i'll upgrade to much more until i'm 21 and/or i need a bigger bike. A 125 will get to and from work and college just fine, aswell as commuting to other places if i was to go and see people. So upgrading to a bigger bike for the sake of getting a bigger bike, to me, seems like a waste. However, i say this now, once i've got my 125 and have had it for a year or two, my opinion may change, and i end up getting a bigger bike anyway.

i wasnt aware u had 125cc restriction. that bike u posted will still be fun to ride around till ur 21 i guess. if ur using it mostly for transportation, you should also check out the mt-125. it uses the same components, but has a slightly lower seating position and handles are a little higher. the ride will still be fun but the seating position will be a little more comfortable. also the stunt/streetfighter look is pretty badass.

any 125cc u get tho, id recommend swapping out the sprockets to get some more torque when u start getting bored and some frame/tail sliders incase u lowside it when you start getting more confident and familiar with the bike. id also get a steering damper, those things save lives and its not that expensive.
