The current rule stands as,
"7 No disturbing Sprays allowed. General"

This new rule is being misinterpreted. An admin recently did not find the example sprays below disturbing; that admin did not want to ask the player to change the spray.(I don't want to post the name of the admin, because it was the admin's opinion.) I strongly suggest that we make the rule more specific. Porn sprays and gore sprays should be directly prohibited in the rules. Below are some new examples of how some people are misinterpreting the spray rule. (Warning: images are disturbing)


Reasons why we must prohibit such sprays.
1) Streamers will not be able to stream on EgN Servers. (Due to Twitch guidlines.)
2) YouTubers will not be able to make full videos on EgN Servers.
3) There are many trolls who are willing to annoy normal players with horrific sprays.
4) Some admins do not believe that some sprays are as disturbing as they are. (Misinterpretation)
5) Once you see a spray, you already saw it.
6) Porn sprays are demeaning to woman. What girl would want to play on a server that has nude woman on the walls?
7) There is no punishment to those who play the stupid game. ("Oh, I didn't know that would be considered disturbing!!!")
8) If your told to AFK freeze in a direction that has a disturbing spray, you can't look away. (Assuming that the admin did not deem the spray disturbing.)
9) Admins can't check sprays every 2 seconds...

Lets respect the players who play on EgN servers, and disallow porn, gore, and any disturbing sprays in general.
As a message to the higher-ups: Please change the rule back to specific indications of which sprays are considered disturbing. (NO PORN AND NO GORE)

Please understand that I care that other players feel comfortable on gaming servers, whether I'm staff or not. I'm not trying to act like I'm in charge. This is just a problem that I felt needed to be discussed right away.

Also another thing is, y'know you can just disable sprays if you just want to be completely safe from all the dangers of this rule.

Your statement is logically flawed. Please re-read my post. You didn't get the point.



That would make it impossible to participate in spray games. That would also make it difficult to freeze on sprays when a warden commands to do so.

I completely understand what your saying. My point is that we won't change a rule based on one persons view of the rule. The community has built the rules we use today.

So point being if you dislike the rules there is a way to fix this.
Become member= donate to the clan= get admin= attend meetings= bring your views there= vote on rule changes and done!

I mean during that meeting I absolutely voted for revamping the entire infrastructure of jailbreak but sadly I didn't get my way so I'm just as dissepointed as you are. #reform #JailBreakMade4Semi
