So, what were all the updates made from the previous discord? Checked it out. Good addition with the bots! But add Mee6 ? May wanna include a guide as to how to use them too. The twitch discord that i usually hung around on had them, help a lot for new comers. Besides that, looks real nice, tho don't know how I feel about the emoticons for each individual channel ? Gets a bit clustered. Could we reduce channels too? Maybe keep it game based rather than game modes. Possibly get rid of table for two / three / four? Teamspeak makes sense as you can't make individual calls but if someone were to use table for two, so forth they'd probably just make a group call on discord. Less clustered!

Also, imo we shouldn't even have private channels (including higher up channels) keep it simple, lesser the better. Pushes members to talk to each other /s but like actually does

Edit: Oh, and I like the team channels (dev. team, anime club, etc.)

Deleted 95% of the old channels, there was like... 45+ channels or something, talk about a cluster muster! Hah! Take that disorganization!

Aside from that, made things look clean and nicer. Thinks are more manageable at the moment.

Now, in regards to your suggestion, I see your point of view. We'll have to cross-reference your suggestion with the current state of discord, and the discord vision and we'll implement what we can agree on.

But yea, definitely better than last time, sorry to whoever set it up last time, hope to see discord actually be used a lot more than it is.

Don't mean to be rude, or sound ungrateful (or maybe i am just a Discord n00b and don't understand what it's all about) --- but why are we promoting Discord? Is there something wrong with TS3? Wouldn't it be better for EgN if we focused our efforts on just the one platform?

Nothing is wrong with TS3, us (EgN) are trying to evolve to other platforms than Teamspeak. Some people prefer Discord than Teamspeak 3 for many reasons such as not having an avatar, too lazy to download Teamspeak, etc. For example, him viewtopic.php?f=28&t=22501&p=232940&hilit=discord#p232940 So, by promoting our discord server would bring more players in without limiting the user to download Teamspeak and join our only platform

The worry would be that by having two platforms that we would dilute the user base for both of them. These things only work when there are people on em. Personally I have nothing against Discord - but I do think think it should be one or the other. Not both. Just my 2c
