[Jailbreak] Mute Terrorists

So I've seen this on many servers before and it worked really well. I think we should mute T's for the first 30 seconds of the round so we can let the CT's give their orders. There have been several instances where Mr. Magnus and I muted T's for the first 30 seconds to see if this would clear up confusion, and it worked beautifully. I feel as If we have a plugin that did this, we would have a lot more successful rounds than we do now.

I personally dont care either way but i think the reason ppl are voting no is because its supposed to be the admins job to make sure they dont talk over warden at anytime. And if no admins are online then there are no rules anyway.

Ppl don't like to be muted because it takes a lot longer to ask detailed questions in chat :/

A lot happens in 30 seconds, it makes it easier to hear what's going on within the first 30 seconds without limitation to their vocal opinions.

What about asking for repeats? I know you can type out repeat but a lot of people on the server flat out ignore text chat and if no one is on to make sure the CT's are doing their job and not free killing when people are asking for repeats its going to turn into a shitshow.

If someone gives orders that i cant understand in the first 30 seconds of the match and I get killed because of someone not repeating not paying attention to text chat im going to be honey bunches of butthurt™

90% of the people on the server HATE being muted so we're asking to piss of the regulars, the people who are on everyday keeping the server alive, the people who have to deal with the server rules when none of the admins are on to enforce them.

I admit i've seen instances where the T's need to be muted but those are few and far between when i play on the server or when a player decides to drop a big fat N bomb over the mic, The only people i see giving a damn about muting the T's or the dead are some of our more overzealous admins that try to flex that they have power in the server.

it takes less than 10 seconds to say "all T's when cell doors open take a step out and freeze", if it takes you 30 seconds to give orders when you should already be out of armory by 5:30 thats delaying imo and just takes away from the fun atmosphere of the server.

Ya I don't think we need this. Not that it wouldn't help, but people talking constantly at round start should be muted / warned / kicked / banned if they keep doing it.
If it's every T doing it, well then admins step in again.

If no admins are on.. well, I don't think we can do anything to enforce the rules, and it's not like a CT can't talk over the warden, mic spam, give false orders etc in the first 30 seconds.

And what Zach said, it takes 10 seconds to give orders "Out of cell freeze, Step out your cell face the back and afk freeze". I'd say more confusion comes from two CT's trying to get warden (but I digress, this is about muting).

CT's just need to git gud imo
