I think someone should really get around to updating the rules to clear up the confusion around it, a lot of people never attended the meetings so they don't know.
All the admins go though all of the rules ~2-3 times per year (usually in a 6+ hour meeting). Existing rules are have and continue to be reworded during this meetings.
What we want to avoid is the situation where we start arbitrarily changing rules because 1 or 2 folks happen to find them confusing. Invariably this leads to more confusion since 90% of the admins would not be aware of the change. Then suddenly everyone starts enforcing different rules.
The meetings are where I get more info about the rules on the server besides the rules list.
So if someone tries getting rid of 9 Ts out of 10 just to give one lr/rush the round then I consider that being an asshole. Same as saying certain things to trick Ts going to your spray more than once so you can kill them. Techanally it's extreme word play unless you specify it by saying something like "Follow my spray and freeze on it this one time". By the way I consider the word "follow" as in every time unless specified.
For the record some of the stuff I try to enforce is just so others aren't assholes and try to twist the rules around. It's a big pet peeve of mine and like Yiggles was saying its not fun for the players on the server. I may have warned last night but I've enforced some of this stuff so much it's getting old dealing with people that want to challenge me on it. (Not you Birthstone but other players). I know Matt is working on JB Handbook, so hopefully when it comes out finally we can get a bit more clarification for others on the rules.
Long story short I will continue enforcing what I can out of the rules that we have so I can prevent people from being an asshole/smartass. For everything that I enforce there is a rule behind it to support it. I'm not trying to bend any rules in my favor.
