With regards to Doldol's autopequip wep change

This is bad, I chose the rebel option against 6 Ts on razor and even though I killed 5/6 of them (sheer luck), there was a 1 second delay when the M249 and Deagle was given to me once i hit the rebel option and that could be fatal. I was still on the knife when I hit rebel and had to manually equip the M249 and start shooting (before when you hit rebel it auto equipped the M249 immediately).

Is there a way this can be changed for just rebelling LR as this is a huge disadvantage towards the T rebelling especially against a large # of CTs.

Fyi, that's a fault in the SourceMod lr/hosties plugin (not using a proper way to give weapons). & So unsupported by me.

Yeah, there is. Make sure you're a distance away from the CT's (preferably hiding) so you never encounter this as often. Don't do it next to the CT's if it is or isn't delayed.

And before this new thing Doldol done I hadn't noticed this issue so something may have affected this or the server could have been updated or whatever and something in the plugin for the rebel option may not be supported with current version, probably wrong but hey it could be right.

The point is to rebel when all CT's are close and unsuspecting. hiding takes away the element of surprise and is a death sentence if you are outnumbered.

I’d say this really trivializes the rebel option, even before, CTs usually could react quick enough to kill you before you even really had the chance to shoot them (depending on how well they were paying attention and what weapons they had). Now that you have to manually switch to the weapon AND wait out the swapping animation the CTs will probably be able to kill you before you can even do anything.

Running away and holding a strong angle might work, but even then at least a couple CTs tend to follow you and pretty much any other strategy doesn’t seem viable unless almost every CT isn’t playing their role.
