Pedro isn't my real name but I do have a friend named Pedroson.

You might be thinking to yourself, why is Gold running for a position like this? Why doesn't he just crawl back into the hole he went to when he left in the first place? And those are all good questions. Though to be serious, I did a lot of stuff for the community back when I was Staff (debatable to some). People have told me to give up and just go on my merry way, but like all other past members, they get drawn back here because these are where their good memories are (then leave shortly after because all their friends aren't here anymore I.E. MOOTINIE [lysm]). Though I used to have fun doing things for the community and being part of the "higher ups".

For those who don't know me, I (obviously) used to be Staff around these parts a few years ago. I left due to a large amount of inactivity, and Kharn was already at the brink of demoting me because I wasn't active enough (which is fair). I was a Staff a lot of people trusted to come and talk to (debatable to some), and really went out of my way to aid those who really needed it. During my time as a Staff, I made some good changes that helped the community, such as fixing FastDL by removing unnecessary files to make it run faster, advocated for a friendly and positive playing environment by enforcing a no harassment policy to ensure players enjoy the servers (obviously you can dick around but it was all about bullying essentially), and worked with MattLikesPie on several other small projects.

My track record is a good one, just ask anyone who was here when I was a Staff. Somethings I did were great, and some things weren't so great. Though I always tried to have good intentions for the community with everything I did.

I just wanna jump back into the saddle for a month. and relive good times. Relapse on the EgN drug, and get sent to rehab. Cause fuck it, EgN made me happy for a long time, so its time to put my love for it to the test, and see if I still have as big of a heart for it. Let's make EgN great again!
