After using the n-word on a conference call to a marketing agency known as Laundry Service, John Schnatter has formally announced he's stepping down as Chairman of the pizza chain. Although he appeared to be taking a stand against racism, his comments were said to have offended his audience. I am paraphrasing here, but he basically said that KFC had never got in trouble for Colonel Sanders calling blacks the n-word. Hilariously, KFC has not commented.

Last year, John stepped down as CEO of Papa John's in response to poor financial performance, which John appeared to blame on the NFL and its scandal of players kneeling during the national anthem. To the woe of people who actually have taste buds, Pizza Hut took their spot as NFL's official partner in February 2018.
