Always been an advocate for this, and it, after quite a long time, has been banned in Flordia after the Mid Term election so props to those who voted yes on this prop. But on a real note, a good portion of these geryhounds in Flordia are now looking for home to retire in; otherwise, a lot of those are saying other racing tracks to where it's still legal, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa & West Virginia, are taking in a lot of these greyhounds to race their tracks, basically to gain more profit. So, that's quite unfortunate neither is there much to be done about it. Just hope the next few elections they either re-adjust conditions or similar in these other States.

I understand that it's not exactly great to keep animals for gambling gains, I love animals, and rescued all of the dogs that I have now except for one... but 2018, America is really trying hard to wipe history clean. You can't just delete everything that happens in this country.

Wouldn't say that but neither was our past as much as ideal, so wouldn't take that as much of a way to justify with what's gone on

I don't think we actually banned racing outright. I'm pretty sure we banned BETTING on racing which would, in turn, be a proxy ban on racing because that is the point of racing. Used to live near a greyhound racetrack and their pull was that they also had Blackjack. Hopefully after the ban they can become a fully fledged casino thanks to Amendment 3.
