So, Saudi Arabia has issued it's first driver's license(s) to 10 women in June, and now in November the numbers of gone up more than 65% with women finally not having to rely on their husbands to drive (them, and their families). Unsure of whether they have to continue to ask permission by their husbands to leave / drive, but regardless, very exciting. Small steps, but very eager to see further changes in the future in Middle Eastern countries to balance racial and gender prejudice down there; hopefully in terms of improving their universities and education infrastructure as that seems to be their primary issue for both youth and women alike. Mad props to Saudi Arabia though!

Suadi Arabia, a known country that throws gay men off of buildings. A country full of billionaire dollar oil barons, drug dealers, and arms dealers making money off the military industrial complex. Women being allowed to transportate is being considered a "victory"? It's not a victory. It's a stripped right that was shamefully given back.

Meanwhile the Saudis are driving completely gold-plated Audi A8s. "Hey should we let women drive?" ... "Nah, but let's completely plate my foreign car in gold."
